Canon NU-700N Is Turnkey System
The
NU-700N Network Controllable Pan/Tilt/Zoom (P/T/Z) system from Canon U.S.A.,
Inc., a subsidiary of Canon Inc., is a complete turnkey system that reflects the
company’s reputation for high quality video, durability and outstanding support
to a wide range of remote applications.
With the Canon NU-700N, users now can take advantage of the company’s
renowned P/T/Z head technology for building exterior and warehouse monitoring,
weather and traffic surveillance and outdoor security. The Canon NU-700N
combines a one-quarter-inch three CCD Canon video camera with a built-in 20X
optical zoom lens and 5X digital function for a powerful 100X zoom range.
All components are contained under a rugged outdoor housing with a rain
wiper. When connected to Canon’s optional network-camera server, the system can
be connected to the Internet or a LAN via a non-proprietary protocol control
panel, or computer, enabling image acquisition and the control of camera
functions (including camera pan, tilt, zoom, and focus) from anywhere with
network access.
Other features of the Canon NU-700N include exceptional video quality from
Canon optics and a 3 CCD camera with 410,000 pixels per CCD (NTSC), powerful 20X
optical zoom lens (4.2mm-84mm) plus digital zoom feature that will extend the
focal length up to a maximum of 100 times, and flexible connectivity, either to
a LAN or the Internet through an optional camera server.

Panasonic WJ-HD300 DVR System Secure, Self-Contained
Panasonic’s
new WJ-HD300 employs the security of a Real Time Operating System (RTOS) with
dual compression to deliver the advanced capabilities of enterprise level
processing based DVR systems without the inherent threat of software bugs.
Advanced features include individual profiling for 16 cameras;
Multiple Area Detection so you can program specific sections of specific
scenes; and motion detection with light sensitivity and size detection plus the
exclusive ability to detect motion direction.
The WJ-HD300 is also a self-contained system. Its built-in multiplexer,
on-board PTZ control (with 480ips viewer) and up the coax control for Panasonic
camera systems emulates a mini-matrix switcher.
In addition, the unit features Panasonic Intelligent Motion Search to easily
locate recorded activity using motion detection and a variety of other
programmable parameters.
Additional performance features include: Multiple outputs to view different
images on separate displays; cascade ability to view up to 64 cameras from a
master unit; internal storage capacity of 4.8 TB (per unit) that can define
storage in terms of weeks, months or years; builtin RAID 5 capacity as standard
equipment; and the ability to playback images anywhere on a network while
maintaining the proprietary nature of the recordings, and without the need for
additional software.
