Sony IP Monitoring Solution
Sony Electronics is shipping what it says is the industry’s
first end-to-end network-based IP monitoring packaged solutions. The “all-in-one”
packages combine four Sony network-ready cameras with a Network Video Recorder,
which consists of a Sony VAIO PC with Real Shot Manager camera and video
management software, to create a system that captures, views, records and
archives real-time digital video. Different people in multiple locations can use
the system thanks to wireless capabilities. The Sony IP monitoring solutions are
available through authorized distributors and certified system integrators.

Extreme CCTV EX15
The latest addition to Extreme CCTV Surveillance Systems’
product line is the EX15 Chemically Resistant Submersible Camera for use when
chemicals and water would destroy metal cameras. The EX15 conforms to IP68
requirements and is designed for chemical resistance and underwater operation to
depths of 100 feet.
The EX15 features 12-inch PVC tubing resistant to a number of
corrosive chemical agents such as sulfuric acid, bleach, hydrogen peroxide and
ammonia gas. It has a chemically inert acrylic window and watertight seals,
connections and cabling for shooting surveillance video underwater.
Extreme CCTV says the EX15’s precision ball-bearing slide
platform and varifocal, auto-iris lenses simplify installment. Specially
designed mounting holes let users add weights to counteract buoyancy effects.
