Richard Cowan has been promoted to director of sales for COPS Monitoring. Cowan joined the company in October 2003 as an account manager for the New York area.

In this position, Cowan is responsible for implementing sales strategies and overseeing account managers. He will work in supporting the sales team, including the recently hired account managers who are based in satellite offices. Cowan reports to Executive Vice President Don Maden.
