GlobeRanger, provider of RFID software solutions, is integrating AXCESS International Inc.’s ActiveTag RFID products with its iMotion Edgeware platform. AXCESS creates RFID and video surveillance systems. The companies say the partnership lets them manufacture sensor-based systems that manage infrastructure through one solution.

AXCESS’ active RFID tags and sensors enable businesses to monitor personnel, assets, inventory and vehicles and deliver tag data over the network to GlobeRanger’s iMotion Edgeware platform. Data such as temperature, pressure and motion now is being incorporated with information from passive RFID systems to give users a complete operational view, the companies say.
